LIFE AS A (PREGNANT) BEAUTY SCHOOL DROPOUT

As a senior in high school, I could not wait to get out of the small town I had woken up to every day for the past eighteen years. When graduation day finally came, I walked across that stage with my head held high. Knowing that would be the last time I would have to wake up at 6 am to attend class with the same familiar faces I had seen every morning since preschool. Summer days flew by, each one highlighting the perfect romance of two teens who would shortly be separated by distance. When it came time to pack my car and head out of town, my stomach filled with nervous joy and excitement for the years to come.
